Service Hours

The St George Orthodox Christian Mission does not currently have a priest in charge since our former priest, Fr. Benedict Churchill, was promoted to the rank of Bishop and has relocated. We expect a replacement priest shortly. Until a permanent priest is assigned, we will periodically have visiting priests to offer liturgical and other services to congregants. On Saturdays, at 5:00 p.m. we will continue to hold Great Vespers, and on Sundays we have at 9:45 a.m. the Hours' Prayers and at 10:00 a.m. Divine Liturgy (when we have a visiting priest) or the Typica & homily, followed by lunch or refreshments.

The Commission

"And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you all always, even unto the end of the world. Amen." (Matthew 28:18-20 - KJV)
